History Channel - Rome: The Lost City of China

china por history channel rome the lost city of china lost city china the lost city in china

Information:
The unusual appearance of some of the villagers from the Chinese hamlet of Zhelai Zhai is puzzling to their neighbours, historians and not least to the individuals whose rusty yellow hair and Caucasian features are so perplexing. It has been implied that the history behind their mysterious heritage lies in the ancient occupation of the village by Roman legionnaires. The discovery of artefacts and DNA which links the villagers to Europeans suggests that this rural village really was once a Roman city.
Documentary which examines the evidence suggesting that the Roman Empire stretched as far as China. An ancient atlas reveals that a small Chinese village could have been a Roman settlement given that the Chinese name for the village, when translated, was Rome.
