some photos of old Kuwait...

this museum is in the east area ...
this beautiful bulding is gone now...nothing is left from it
this bulding was owned by"Shek:Abduallah Algaber Al-subah"...and he gave it to the government in 1958 to use as a museum....and it was ...for a long time...
this museum had many monuments for Kuwait...
but it was left for along time with no care or looking after it...
and unfortunatly...it's in a very bad condition and can't be fixed...

this photo was taken to the middle of "Fahd Alsalem" street in1964.....
meaning that 44 years had past on it....
and within this 44 years some changes had been to this palce....
1st :the "Mothana"school on the right side had been replaced by a mole of the same name....
and the buildings in the north side had been changed by new ones...modern new ones...
but the traffic lights are the same!!

but the only thing in this photo which had died out and has no more existance are the cars...
old cars which is no more found now...

this photo is a very very old one...
it was taken in a period you see many many people and a no. which is meanless of cars...
this car is "ford if model 1946!!"
it had a wooden out body...!!

this photo represents a group of high school students in 1965....
as they reached the statue of the Earth...
which had been remived and changhed by a new one in 2005 ...
by the "Shek Gaber Alabdullah Algaber Alsabah"...
the base of the statue has the picture and the word"CAT"...
referes to the building company...
